Quality of air produced by TEMPO2 Compressors

Customers in the PET sector are increasingly requiring the air produced by the blowing, and which therefore comes into contact with the PET container, to meet the highest quality levels.

This even applies in markets hitherto considered secondary, and oriented exclusively towards a low-cost product without emphasizing the quality aspect.
In particular, the International Standards generally referred to when defining the quality of the air are ISO 8573.1 standards. These define the classes in terms of air quality, according to the presence and size of particles of hydrocarbons, water and oil normally present in the air and formed during the actual compression process.
SIAD Macchine Impianti has always paid particular attention to compliance with these prescriptions, because clean air has undeniable advantages for all the mechanical parts involved (e.g. the blower) and because, in being used mainly in the food sector, it comes into contact with the product used by the ultimate consumer.
This is why the betterment of this aspect is always a priority in the studies and improvements applied to our TEMPO2 compressor lines.
Hence the use of the very fine inlet filter, air pipes entirely in stainless steel (a feature of the TEMPO2 lines), increasingly efficient condensation traps, generously sized air driers, the galvanised tank, and stainless steel final filters ensuring very high filtering levels, also with activated carbons.
These main features, which are just some of the many present on the machines, show that the result obtained by the TEMPO2 line of compressors, in terms of air quality, is definitely higher than that prescribed by class 1 (the most “demanding”) of the International Standards! SIAD Macchine Impianti can therefore proudly position the TEMPO2 line at highest quality levels in the field of air compressors used for blowing PET bottles.
